Climate Change, Can You Change It?

Super typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) is just another wake up call for us filipinos. The floods that Ondoy surprisingly brought to Metro Manila and neighboring provinces were so devastating. It never chooses what economic status you are in. The flash flood was so swept that everybody were caught unprepared. Lives and properties were snatched and destroyed right then and there. This is the effect of Climate Change.

Yes, Climate Change. Where every government in every nations in the world were already aware of, since the landmark 1992 Framework Convention on Climate Change (FCCC) and the succeeding Kyoto Agreement. However, peoples all over the world did not and do not care about it. Global emissions are still increasing instead of reducing since then. We care less about climate change. Until, of course, you became a victim of it. Just like the victims of super typhoon Ondoy.

Climate Change, Can You Change it? Yes! We Can.. Bloggers all over the world believe that! We can still change the course of the devastating effects of climate change.

So, today, October 15, 2009 through our simultaneous posting about Climate Change in our respective blogs,  a big difference is in the offing.
